He has undergone training in minimally invasive daycare proctology under the structured course laid by Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India and achieved a fellowship in colorectal Surgery from International Society of Colo-Proctology. He has also been trained in laparoscopic surgery and received the fellowship by India Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons.
